Corporate & Stag/Hen Groups in Scotland

Countryside Experience with Rifle & Shotgun Etiquette

For something a LOT more adventurous on your Stag or Hen Party Hunting Scotland can offer a “Countryside Experience Package”, taking in both Firearms and Shotguns.

Rifle and Shotgun use and Etiquette

The first part of the experience focusses on our Clay Pigeon Experience with Shotguns. All shotguns, cartridges, clay-targets and PPE are provided along with an experienced instructor who will teach you the fundamentals of shotgun safety and use over a broad and exciting range of targets.

Moving on from there your instructor will then introduce you to the principles and etiquette surrounding the use of rifles in Countryside Management. Following a comprehensive safety briefing you will be instructed in the use of a .22LR rifle over a variety of targets from 50 to 100m distant. Once confident and capable you will be allowed to use a “full-bore”, deer legal, caliber rifle on various targets before finishing your experience with “life-like” shots on one of our full-size Red Deer, Roe Deer or Fox targets manufactured for us in AR500 steel, thus affording you the satisfaction of hearing the strike of the bullet at ranges in excess of 100m!

All of our rifle instructors are qualified and active Countryside Managers (some professionally) who use their firearms regularly, one or two even come from a competitive shooting background!

Various competitive elements can be worked in throughout the day for those who desire it.
